Huh? The Wit Wit BS Blog?

Welcome to the “Where in the World is the Blue Swallow?” blog (the Wit Wit BS blog for short). This page is designed to feature the fans and appreciators of the Blue Swallow Motel! Here is a chance to show your Blue Swallow Spirit, wherever in the world you might be! Post a picture of yourself in your Blue Swallow Motel gear. Each quarter (every three months), the best photo will win a prize. Have some fun, everyone! Don your Blue Swallow T-shirts and hats, balance your coffee mug on a fence post, hang your room key tag on a bamboo tree in China, put that Blue Swallow license plate on the front of a taxi in Berlin, or take that Blue Swallow cap to the top of the Empire State Building, and share the results with us.

To show and share, here’s what to do: E-mail us the photo, and include location, date, and names. The more info, the better! We’d also love to see vintage photos, postcards and stories.

First East Coast Swallow Sighting!

A pair of Super-Adventurers, Mike and Suzy did a cross-country Route 66 trip on their motorcycles this past summer, and picked up one of the new Neon T-shirts during their stay at the Blue Swallow. Here’s Suzy sporting her shirt in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

We are happy to count these two as “Friends of the Blue Swallow!”

Has the Blue Swallow Gone to the Dogs?

The answer to this question is a definite “yes!” As evidence, Molli and Mike from Fairview, Michigan submitted this photo of “Mr. Puppy” modeling the latest in Blue Swallow t-shirts. Says Molli, ” I don’t know if you can use the picture of Mr. Puppy but he is thinking of The Blue Swallow and his buddies Boomer and Bessie who live there.” It looks like their other pet guest, “Perry” wishes she had a shirt, too.

The Blue Swallow Trailer at the Cozy Dog

On a recent trip back to Michigan to see family and to pickup merchandise along the way (t-shirts, Route 66 Sodas, etc), we stopped in Springfield, Illinois for a couple of Cozy Dogs. This was our first time there, and it was a fantastic experience! Of course, we are sporting the Blue Swallow emblems. We also were dragging the Blue Swallow trailer. We always maintain a high profile when we travel.
